Pictures of Cambridge
Cambridge is a gem. The first of the towns crossed by water channels that I’ll represent pictorially. The merit of discover and visit the city, both in summer and in winter, was a dear friend of mine, Marco Sacchi, who is PhD and PostDoc in the University. Beyond the visits to the prestigious colleges and university life, you will be fascinated by how water links old and new; the dynamism never rowdy in the streets, in pubs, parks; the English elegance to relive the past, making it timeless.
The first photo is the most popular of the set: it follows the receipt of a marriage between an English student and a cute IndianĀ girl, in a happy combination of lights and costumes.
The latest photos are devoted to the campaign of Dedham Valley, not far from Cambridge, where famous painters Constable and Turner have taken the first steps. And here, in this landscape, charming in its rustic humility, was born my “pictorial” vein.
